I am a small guy living in Montreal for the past twenty odd years. I have had websites for various items since the web really started in earnest in 1994. I am one of the old timers that still believes that a website shoud provide a resource to those on the web – I have never tried to make the web something to promote a business.
The concept of the blog intrigues me, it seems as if the web has come full circle and is returning to its roots as a resource once again.
I have been trying to find a way to create my own energy in a sustainable, renewable way and not having a lot of luck getting off the grid in the big city. Possibly it is because I am not particularly handy with tools and building things.
I bet there are a lot like me, and it is time to go out to the world and see just what kind of support and strength we can develop in changing the world’s destructive dependence on oil – one person at a time.

I have accepted your comment on the blog you responded to, I moved the blog a week or so ago, and it is now at:

I decided to go to my own domain. Your response was on the old wordpress one. It doesn’t matter that much, as I will keep that blog as it is, but hopefully in the future you will move over there to see the ongoing discussion I am posting. The other reason I am responding directly is to hopew you will repost the comment over there…..I can do it, but it doesn’t give credit where credit is due and this address is valuable, as is the video calling on people to start to mobilize against the armies of the oil company propaganda.
